fresh 48 newborn session - hospital or birth location | Portland, Oregon
The arrival of your precious little one is a time to be celebrated and cherished for a lifetime. Those first moments, days, and even weeks are fleeting and baby is changing so quickly as their features really start to develop. Wrinkles fade, hair grows/falls out/grows again, flaky skin disappears, and their little eyes begin to open to the wonder of the world. It’s in those moments, when parents are just getting to know their new arrival, and siblings see each other for the first time that love radiates the entire room. It’s so easy to forget all those little details in the whirlwind of a growing family, but photographs of that time preserve every perfect feeling and emotion. They are the moments that tell the story of your family and should be captured, cherished, and handed down for generations.
Four Jays Photography specializes in documenting these beautiful moments around 24-48 hours after the arrival of your new baby. These Fresh 48 sessions take place in the comfort of your birth location (hospital, birth center, home, etc) in the Portland Metro / surrounding cites. All family members are welcome, this includes siblings and extended family.
In their own words:
”Book Danielle now! The images she captures are stunning and will be cherished for a lifetime, so the investment is 100% worth it. She has done two Fresh 48 sessions for our family and both times her photography surpassed my expectations -- she was able to work with the imperfect lighting in the hospital room as well as the chaos of our growing family and capture the pure joy we all felt each time we met a new little family member. We have chosen to print and frame a few photos to display around our home and we also used the digitals to create baby photo albums. Professional photos are the way to go when capturing such special milestones, and Danielle's talent and sweet personality make her the perfect photographer for these tender moments.”
"Danielle beautifully captured our son's hospital birth in a Fresh 48 session. Her images are gorgeous -- although I delivered on a dark, rainy day, she managed to light up the hospital room with warmth and make the surroundings look cozy and inviting. I couldn't believe how beautifully she captured our family of four just 12 hours after my delivery! Although we were all tired and disheveled, the main thing that comes through in the photos is the pure joy we felt at meeting our new family member. But the MOST important thing to me about working with Danielle was her personality -- we are a private family, and I was a little nervous about having a photographer in the room so soon after giving birth. But Danielle's presence was completely unobtrusive and even calming. She has a wonderful way with kids, and even my shy daughter hammed it up for the camera. Danielle's experience as a mom shows, as she is comfortable handling even the tiniest of newborns, and I felt totally at ease letting her hold and document my son. Overall it was a wonderful experience working with Four Jays photography and I will forever cherish the images Danielle captured. Looking forward to working with her again in the future!!!"
"Danielle has certainly found her creative niche-she is such a natural photographer! I feel sooo blessed to have "stumbled" upon her services because the photos she took of our new little one and our family are AMAZING! I couldn't be happier with the moments she captured and just 24 hours after our son was born. Danielle was so friendly and easy to work with during the session and made us feel comfortable. She was patient so she could catch the "perfect" shot and had great ideas based on the room and light. She provided mom and dad direction to make us look our best, which we really appreciated! I can't recommend Danielle enough, she is GREAT!"
